I did it... I'm finally caught up!

I did it... I'm finally caught up! It took me most of today but it's done. I am the worst blogger in the whole world! That is one of my many goals this year is to be a better blogger and a more savvy blogger. We will see how that goes! Thanksgiving - January 12th is below! Nothing has happened since then but as soon as it does I'll let ya'll know. Read below if you care to be caught up with the Halfmann Huddle!

ThirtyOnderful

On December 31st I DIQ'ed which means that I am now a Director in Qualifying! Whoo Hoo! I started with Thirty-One in February of 2008 and in December I DIQ'ed. I am so proud of myself, I just had to toot my own horn, as Cindy says. Because of this I got to participate in our Thirty-One Leadership conference in Atlanta. We had an awesome conference and I learned so much more about the awesome company and ways to help build & strengthen my team. I got to meet Cindy Monroe the founderr and president of Thirty-One. And I got to network with a lot of other great ThirtyOnderful women. I received lots of great tips of the trade that I can't wait to put into action! We got to see a sneak preview of the new Spring/Summer line. And we found out that in April we are launching a new line called 31Kids! It will be a special catalog filled with great baby and kids products. And in June we are launching out new Tween & Teen line called Directions.
I can't wait to see all the new stuff!

The week after we had spring regionals in Tampa. I had the great privilege to help with this meeting. My director Kim and her director Courtney asked me to present the way I do my Thirty-One home shows. I was extremely anxious and nervous about it but I did it and will it couldn't have gone better. Well that's what I was told. Me being me I can think of about 6 things I should have done and about 5 things I shouldn't have but they don't know what I left out.

Ohh that Tank Marie!

The other day it had been raining hard all morning long and all night the night before. After school I came home to let Tank out into the yard. We have a pond right behind our house but we have no fence. That being said I put Tank on her lead and did a quick survey around the area for other dogs and people that she might think it fun to fuss at. I noticed that there were quite a few ducks in the pond that wasn't really all that unusual. So I really didn't think about it.
She's never gone after them or anything plus she's on her lead right.....
She was sitting so pretty that I thought... ohh I get a new picture of her.
I went inside to grab my camera and got back just in time to capture this!

That would be her lead that she riped from the ground!
Either she's just that strong or because of all the rain we had, it was really loose already.
Needless to say she went to doggy time out for awhile!

So this is Christmas...

The Holidays seemed busier this year than ever! That could be because not only was I doing the normal holiday stuff with friends, family and school. But October - December I did close to 20 Thirty-One Parties! I am so thankful for my Thirty-One Business, for all that it is meaning and doing for John and I! I can't wait to see all the Dreams that will come true because of it!

Christmas was busy as normal. The Tuesday before Christmas we had family Christmas at my house. That has become our tradition because of all the hoopla that goes on at the grandparents house. I made country fried steak with the white country gravy of course. Mashed potatos, green beans, rolls, and Caitlyn made cookies for dessert. We opened presents and enjoyed the peace and quiet before the storm.

We spent Christmas Eve and Day with my Mimi & Papa and all the Adams Clan. This year there was a new addition to the family, MaeBeatrice Kay Sherwood (aka MaeBea). My cousin Karina's little girl. She is precious! On Friday we drove to Orlando to spend some time with my Grammy and Uncle Dennis & Aunt Judy. We have such a wonderful family and love spending the holidays with them. We are so grateful for all the blessings!
