Chop... Chop

So I finally got tired of my hair being so long. Not that it was that long…it was just getting past my shoulders. You know right at that point where it always gets caught under you collar? And I just couldn’t take it any more so I chopped it off. I use to wear it this short all the time. But since we got married I go back and forth between long and sort of long. And of course as soon as I chop it off the weather decides to super cold!Well cold for Jacksonville! The pictures aren’t great but you get the point. And of course it always looks better in person then in pictures!

Before.....

(the beginning of October- that was the most recent picture
I could find where you could actually see my hair length)

After.....

Thanks Candace! You always do a super job!

Your the bestest!!

Another Great Birthday!

For my 26th birthday we made our annual trek to the Happiest place on earth…DISNEY!
I don’t care how many times I have gone, it never gets old or boring! There is something new every time. Like the new Toy Story Ride! It’s so much better than the Buzz Lightyear ride. This year they had already done a bit of decorating for Christmas so that was really neat. I am currently trying to talk John in to going down at least for a day during December so we can see all the decorations. I hear that the Christmas lights at Hollywood Studios are a sight to behold!(MGM – for those like me who have a hard time remembering the name switch) I have never been at Christmas before!
All in All it was another great Birthday Trip!

Here are some of the highlights….

Some of the Christmas decorations

While we were at Disney there were only 46 days left till Christmas!

Micky, Minnie, Cinderella and their friends decorated the outside of the castle while we were there.

It looks so pretty like little icicles are all over.

We found this snowman at MGM Studios. (He's actually there all year long but the Christmas store he sits in front of just opened for the season.) My poor legs are whiter than the snowman!

That's awful!

We got to be co-pilots on the Monorail! That was pretty cool!

This is the Pilot Steve he pilots the purple monorail.

Did you know that there are 12 different monorails?

And they are all called by their colored stripe?

The monorail runs through the Contemporary Hotel.

When I go to Disney in July for the Thirty-One National Conference this is where we will be staying.

I can't wait!

Mr. Potato Head welcomes you to the New Toy Story Ride. It's like the Buzz Lightyear ride where you shoot the aliens. Only lots better! You will have to ride it for yourself and see how much fun it is!

My favorite thing right now at Disney though is the Finding Nemo Musical

at Animal Kingdom!!! It is the best show at Disney and

I have seen a lot of them!

It's all puppets! But the puppeteers not only work and move the puppets.

They also sing and dance and everything!

This is a must see if you are ever at the Animal Kingdom!

Make sure you go and get in line early though so you can get a good seat!

If you ain’t a Gator … your Gator Bait!

What a great game! It's so great to be a FLORIDA GATOR!!! Can't wait for next year!
Here are some of the highlights!

He was so cute! All the Georgia fans kept trying to give him red and black stickers.

John and I at the Mayors Tailgate

The meteorologist were worry about rain. But it turned out to be a beautiful day.

Daddy wanted to spin the wheel. He wanted to win a flashlight. After the wheel fell on him,
he got to pick whatever he wanted. Which of course was that stupid flashlight.

Cay & I at the Mayors Tailgate

All the fans going in to the game. They were backed up at that
intersection for what looked like miles.

The Cheerleaders warming up

Tim Tebow

Urban Meyer

With one little pinch I could have wiped out the whole team!

And here they come the FLORIDA GATORS!

It was a full house

Dan Hicken & Jeff Prosser

This guy fell asleep within the first 10 minutes of the game!

Fightin' Gator Marching Band

Caitlyn & Daddy enjoying the game

Urban talkin to his boys

Still sleeping....game is more than half over and he is still sleeping.

Uncle Bobby & Bradley analyzing the last play

*yawn* "dude what's the score?" Spoke in a druken slur.
Don't you know you party before the game and then take a nap during
the game so that you are ready to go back and party some more.
I bet that was the most expensive nap ever!

This was cay and mine's highlight of the game. The band did a medoly of songs and it was great. But the kicker was that they all did the dance from Michael Jackson's Thriller!!
I wish I had gotten the whole thing! It was great!!

Playing Catch Up (part 2)

So like I said I'm not sure how I sucked into this whole blogging thing but I wanted to apologize for all the weird font changes going on with the last post. It sure didn't look like that in my preview but anyways here is the last part of that post somehow it didn't show up with the rest of them? !

The last thing I wanted to tell you about was our recent Sunday School Outing. We went to Connors Amazing Corn Maize in Hilliard. It started out to be a cold misty gross day but in the end it turned out perfect. There were all kinds of fun things to do besides the corn maze. There were wagon rides, duck racing, pedal car races, a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, farmers market, and more. The maze was broken up into two groupings there were questions 1-5 which we completed without a hitch. And then there was questions 6-10 which were quite harder. We found marker 10 first and then thought well we will just work our way backwards and be done with it. At least we thought that until we found number 10 for the second time. To make a long story short we finally found 6-8 but never found 9. Maybe next time. If you live around here you should defiantly check them out their website is www.connerscornfieldmaze.com

Outside the start of the maze

Off we go

Didn't we just come from here?

Which way should we go? This way...no this one...umm...
I think we should go left, right?
Right! .... Right? I thought you said left!
